Bahamas: CARICOM ‘extremely saddened’ by Haitian migrant boat tragedy

The Caribbean Group (CARICOM) says it’s saddened by the lack of life, which occurred on Sunday, when a  vessel carry Haitian migrants capsized off the Bahamian coast.

In an announcement as we speak, CARICOM mentioned: “This newest catastrophe brings to the fore as soon as once more the determined scenario in Haiti and the reprehensible nature of the actions of those that are profiting from folks making an attempt to flee.”

The Bahamians are in police custody pending the end result of an investigation.
