The hotly contested 43-bid public sale resulted in essentially the most ever paid for an NBA championship ring.
The 2000 championship, Kobe’s first of 5 titles, was the one time he gifted his father with a hoop. Goldin famous that it is a similar copy of the one given to Kobe: BRYANT etched on one facet, with the identical sizing (11½), weight (59.6 grams) and etchings.
